The Maxxam Cable Matting, Class 0 is used to protect cables in a wide range of applications. The fine cell construction protects the cables from physical damage from sharp edges and uneven surfaces. The matting protects cables from thermal shock where there is a risk of large temperature fluctuations and reduces the risk of moisture damage from cables laying in surface water.
The Maxxam Cable Matting, Class 0 emits low levels of smoke and fume, has a low halogen content and is designed to minimise the risk of fire spread.
The cable matting is resistant to weathering, UV degradation, ozone, chemical and mildew attack.
Supplied on a roll, the cable matting is very quick and easy to deploy, with minimal packaging to dispose of. A special fire-resistant tape is available to secure joins.
